What changed
Imagine is the image and video side of Grok. You start from a text prompt or a reference photo, then keep refining with follow-up messages in the same chat instead of starting over. xAI's page lists stills up to 2K and clips of up to 15 seconds, in a browser and in the iOS and Android apps.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants quick stills or short clips without opening a separate video tool. You can try it free and the page also sells a SuperGrok upgrade. The page we checked doesn't set out which limits come with which plan, so check before you rely on it for a job.
What it means for a cut
Fifteen seconds is the most you'll get from one clip, so anything longer is built from several and joined in the edit. Keeping every change in one thread helps when you're matching a look across shots, because the references and earlier versions are still in the conversation.
