Topview 3D Builder: block the shot before you generate

Official Topview release (15 Oct 2026): 3D Builder stages an editable 3D scene from a description or reference image, so you can place characters and props, set the camera and its move, and preview the shot before spending a video generation. A scene build is $0.10. Previs and blocking, not finished footage.

What changed

3D Builder gives you a rough 3D set before you generate any video. Describe the scene or hand it one reference image and it builds a stage you can edit. You shift props and people around, lock anything you don't want moved, then add a camera move such as a push-in, an orbit or shot-reverse-shot and watch it through the lens. Each scene build costs $0.10.

Who it's for

It's aimed at previs. If you're planning AI shots on a tight budget, you can sort out the layout cheaply instead of paying for video generations that come back with the wrong blocking. How a character moves is a separate job, which Topview gives to its Motion Control tool.

What it means for a cut

You can put several cameras on one stage, so a wide, a closer shot and a side angle all come from the same set rather than three separate prompts that might not match. Topview is upfront that the video model can still drift. The stage fixes where things are, not every detail of the final frame.
